Projectors, anyone have these?

I was looking at projectors and came across these I have never seen them on a truck in chrome. I was thinking of getting them. People say the light output is a bit round and uneven? I was thinking about putting 35w ddm HIDs in them with the H1 bulb size. Thoughts?

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8530)

There are a few on her that have those. IMO they don't look good on our trucks at all. Look through the gallery, you'll come across some pics.

I will say this... I had the non projector version on my truck after I got into an accident a year and change ago. I liked them quite a bit after I had them, but they were always aimed a bit low so night driving was a bit of a pain sometimes. Output was ok, but they were just a little low. Easy fix right? Well, the adjusters aren't accessible without popping the assembly out so I didn't want to go through the hassle of taking them out, turning a screw, then reinstalling, check pattern, then repeat if necessary.

Well, last week I finally got off my *** to fix them. Guess what? The damn adjuster broke on the left headlight! DAMMIT! At the end of the day, these aftermarket set of lights were made of the stereotypical made in China crap quality on many parts. They worked great, but now I am left with two headlights that I can't do anything with because of a damn broken adjuster that is INSIDE of the headlight assembly so I can't just take it off and replace it like the stocker adjusters.

So what did I do?

I slapped my OEM lights back on the truck. I'm glad I didn't sell them a few months back like I was going to. They had 600 miles on them when I took them off (for a modded set of OEM lights that were replaced after my accident) so they are perfect. I just need some proper 06+ corners again because the original corners were modded and sold off after i replaced them. Thank goodness I had some 04 corners sitting around. (pack rat anyone? lol)
