Icon5 Buying 2wd Ranger, what you think of this one?

I am loiking to get another Ranger this time a 2wd, to keep miles off of my 03 and to get better mileage as my 03 4wd only gets 16mpg. Anyone think that this one is a good deal I already talked to them and I can pick it up for less than what is shown, just wanted to knw what everyone else thinks of it?

Mileage was a little concerning however it does have a newer tranny and a new clutch. . . Not that, that changes anything really

It doesn't look bad, but the mileage is high, but the trucks are strong. I have heard of rangers have over 300,000 miles on the original motor.

Rust would be my concern. Engine may go south as stated, but that's not really horribly expensive for another four banger. Tinworm repair can get into really big bucks in no time.

dont listen to everyone els when it comes to asking price. ask half. if they know how to talk business then they will talk you up. if they dont, then you get a steal. either way you win if you consider alternatives - if they get offended tell them to F off and go buy a dif truck and always bring cash (the presence of cash works wonders). IM NOT JOKING. im a natural businessman. the best people to buy trucks from are people that dont understand the concept of talking business. the last vehicle i sold i talked the buyer up from the asking price. as far as i know thats unherd of.

i think that one would be at least worth a look see and test drive. as some others said bring some cash with you...
it might be worth making an on the spot offer ...
