Foglight switch wires

hey guys, im trying to wire my kc daylighters to a factory fog light switch that i just bought. my question is which wire is which? i know the black is ground then im not too sure on the rest.
one wire is light orange/orange
another is blue/ red
and another is blue/black
this is where im confused because the switch that came with the daylighters only had 3 plugs.
here's a pic for reference:

The 95~2006 factory foglamp switch works by switching the ground side of the relay but most aftermarket switches control the hot side.

Here is one way to wire the stock switch to aux lights:

hey, sorry to jack the thread, but do you know a good source for the fog switch wires? I've got a switch, but no wiring connector to go with it.

Salvage yard is probably your best bet. Motorcraft may have a repair connector available but they are usually pricey ($30+).

yeah, I've got stock fogs and all so I've got that wiring, but I got an explorer bezel with the 2nd switch and I need to wire that into the lights on my guard.

blue99ranger, please share a photo of your finished project, if possible. I want to add fogs using a stock switch, but don't see where the Ford switch would go to remain original equipment. Thanks in advance!

There should be place for it already in the bezel. You just have to cut out the opening and slide the factory fog in.

tekrsq, thanks for your reply. I just checked my bezel, and the only thing mine has is the cigarette lighter on the left side. The rest of it is just smooth plastic.

i already had a hole for a fog light switch in mine. it was just patched over with a black piece of plastic. if u're looking for the switch only, i got a used one i can send to you, just pay shipping.
