camper shell

I have this damn Snug Top on the back of my truck that I am very much trying to get off. I undid the clips that are supposed to hold it down, but I still can't get it off. It seems to be somewhat "glued" onto the bedliner.

Somebody with experience or any knowledge wanna help me?

There shouldn't be any glue it should just be a some what sticky strip of padding on there, you just have to pull. Make sure there are no screws going from the top through the bed rail.

yea, i agree with the tape. it should be sticky to one side only either the cap (if the person who put it on for you was smart) or on the bedrail (not so much).

Thanks guys. I'm definitely not enough man power to take it off by myself. But I'll have a friend who's dad will help me. As long as I know it's not glue and it's easy to get off.

Depending on the heat the truck is in, and the quality of the weather stripping is, it may have got hot enough and released all the adhesive throughout the strip.

My old alumnium topper did that, I actually used a 2x4 strapped to a car jack to the roof of the topper and jacked it up. (not safest but it worked) Then once the back was seperated I stuck a little 1x1 on each side and pounded them down towards the cab until it let loose.

Good Luck.
