Camper Shells!

I just got one on my truck. Lets see yours! Also, what mods have you done to the shell? I am getting roof racks, and putting a light inside.

I got a Con Ferr rack for mine, just haven't put it on yet. I also will build some drawers for it at some point in time.

Only recent picture I have...

I can't find the pics of after paint, but it still looks like ***.

Only use it for camping or in the winter. I haven't put it on right now though. No need, LOL!

I have a Century Shell. I bought it used and it was silver. I had it painted to match my truck. It came with a dome light. I have since repainted the rear window frame. I want a rack on it, but haven't been able to find one on their site.

Here I have done the mud mod:

DSC_0057-2.jpg?t=1228874752

Here I had the 'clean' Mod:

As it sits now:

Nicee! Lookin good, gotta take a photo of mine! What do you guys have in them? I am thinking about doing a carpet kit, or some kind of mattress so I can sleep in it when I go snowboarding!

ive also thought about getting one of those tents for camping, that would be sweet, but i think i'd rather have a camper that i can leave on all the time and have a sense of security when i put things in the bed.

Here is mine! I love the hi rise I have. It's not "cool" but when you need the little bit of extra space it's there. Thanksgiving weekend of my dads elk hunt we stuffed his huge 6x6 bull elk and all of our camping gear back there. Without the extra space of the hi rise I would have been screwed. Half of the rack was hanging out over the tail gate.

Need to get it repainted...tossed in a bedrug not too long ago, I only fit in there if i sleep at an angle. Nice for snowboarding so I can leave my stuff in the bed without thinking too much about it. Also no tent to set up when camping. Want to get a rack for it too.

Here is the LEER I had on my 04 Ranger. It was $1600, but it had Vented Windoors (side windows open like the rears and also had sliders for vent windows), had a carpeted headliner, dome light, tilting front window with a slider, and a buil tin gun box. I loved it!

Here is my Dodge, I bought it for $150 bucks and am probably going to resell it as I want a new topper that is already paint matched, with more features. I have no Idea who makes it as it doesn’t say anywhere.

is it me, or do alot of the red rangers have a camper shell. Those are some good lookin trucks. I really like my shell and it has all sorts of goodies to accomodate camping or boarding. The roof rack i found on craigslist and its just bolted on using some big fender washers. Holds the high lift and shovel and the lights have come in handy a couple of times. I got the carpet kit from the same guy who sold me the shell (again, from craigslist) then bought a full size memory foam mattress pad, its really comfy back there. And if it gets cold while camping, I put in a dual battery that i can isolate from the charging system and run a power inverter which lets me run my electric blanket all nite. Oh yea, i also removed the rear window so now its a climb through if i need to. Its nice having a shell, when we go camping all i have to do is lift my hatch and im ready, no tents or airmattress' or nothin.

My shell opens up into a tent.

I can't get the picture to post.

Edit: I finally figured out how to post the picture although a bit late. Thanks Trent for the help.
