Looks like an EGR to me...but I could be wrong lol

That is whats called a whatcha-hickey, or a thing-a-ma-bob... or a doohickey....

egr valve.. also known as a MUSTNTOUCHIT.

ya you take that off you will fail the emissions test for your state inspection

Nope, not the EGR. Any other guesses?

looks like a EGR, are those Vac lines? if not where do they go?

fuel pressure regulator it should have a vacuum line attached to it hard to see in picture :smileford:

Its part of your EVAP and emissions. Its a No-touchy-touchy object. its similar to a carbon canister, but for the gas fumes. (remember, this was when California was in everyones business about emissions)

Its gonna have to become touchy touchy when I need to replace it.

let it soak in penetrating oil for awhile it will be fine
