Can i re-Program a key fob

Icon10 Can i re-Program a key fob

So like the title says can i re-program a key fob. I have the one for my current ranger and i have one from my old one. ( new one in a 2002 and my old one is a 2004.) how do i go about doing this.

You need to turn the switch on an off till the doors lock and unlock. Then press the lock button. This should program it to your truck.

read your owners manuel it tells you haow to do it. You turn the ing. from off to on like nine or ten times then hit the lock button on the keypad and your set. I think.

Just try to turn your ignition switch on and off and see if that will work.

You need to turn the switch on and off pretty fast for it to work.

try turning key on/off 8 times only to run position , and then try key fobs-lock/unlock

you must doo all key fobs at once for them all to work. cycle the key 8 times ENDING in the on position and then hit the buttons on all key fobs (up to 4)
