Well I had 2 $h!t my pants moments today
First I was driving down the interstate in the work truck (F350) on the way to the job and all of a sudden it sounded like a gunshot and I was covered in glass, The rear window blew out and came inside the cab, I almost ran off the road when it happened because of all the dust from glass. I have no idea how it happened Nothing could have hit the glass due to the fact it has a work body on it and the back is covers with a piece of sheet metal with some circle holes in it along with a welding machine.
The second was in the same truck on the way back from the job. I was driving in the opposite direction of the same stretch of road when all of a sudden traffic slams on the brakes. I buried mine to the floor and the rear tires locked up and I swerved towards the wall. The guy infront of of me (new body style escape) noticed me behind him struggling to stop fast so he swerved as close to the line as he could to avoid it and i thought i was home free but then he put on his blinker and pulled over. We got out did the whole looking at the bumpers shook hands and He said it was alright he knows how hard it is to stop a weighted truck so he asked for the shop number just incase he wanted to call, He said he prolly wouldnt cause it was just the paint on the corner of the bumper.
When I got back to the shop i walked in and the boss was mad at another guy I work with and he asked me to come in his office to talk because I was running late and didnt want to pay overtime (work is slow) I was like oh **** this is it im done, Im gone. well after he finished and said i could go home, then i had to delicately tell him what happened. Well luckily he wasent to mad about it. I still have my job anyway.
Holy $h!t I need a drink, at least it wasent the ranger.
