cataltytic theft while on the truck!
Short story, someone tried to steal all the cats on 2 of my Rangers that stay parked at the granite shop.
One employee called Monday and said "the truck was loud". I was on the way back from Nascar races.
This morning the second truck was acting the same way. It hadn't been started since last week.
They look under and both trucks had been cut at the y-pipe and after the main cats in an attempt to remove them in one large unit.
After the main cat it is cut all the way through. One y-pipe is fully cut. The other y-pipe is partially cut.
They did not finish the job and I have all the components. What a mess.
There are cameras showing evryone driving to and out of my shop. I hope it was done during daylight hours. if thats the case i have a good shot and getting them.

Geesh, sorry to hear that man.
These types of crimes are becoming more and more prevalent as indicated by John Grigg's post of the theft of his exhaust system and other posts. A neighbor of mine works in a metal shop and they recently were broken into. In my area here I've talked to the local law enforcement and they are well aware of it and trying to get any shops to require ID when selling bulk and scrap metals. What can we do? Not a great deal but stay vigilent and report ALL crimes and suspicious activity immediately.
Stay safe all,
