I want to install a remote oil filter on my 2004 4.0 to make oil changes easier. Does anyone have suggestions on which setup to get and photos of where to install the new filter? I have seen TransDapt remote filter setups on JC Whitney and other sites.

Any help will be appreciated.

This is a good idea, I have toyed with this for a while...

 

only question you need to ask yourself is: "where am i going to mount it that it will not get hit with road debris and damaged that will still be accessible?"

I had a remote oil filter kit, but i couldn't find anyplace to answer that question......
