huge problem

i was working on installing my new enclosoures in the back of my super cab and noticed after leaving them there for a few days, one which it rained, they have water damage. How could the water be getting in? Could it be through those black rubber looking things? Has anyone else had this problem?

Time to break the tools out!

Looks like you got a weekend project. You'll probably need to remove the trim from the back, get a friend and a water hose, and try and find the leak. Be careful back there, I think the RABS unit is kept back there, so be sure to protect it from water. Good luck.

I've heard that sometimes water comes in through the third brake light, check that as well.

Im saying 90% chance its the third brake light. It will leak down then show up on the back floor.

my third brake light leaked but you could not really tell where it came from. look at the rear pillars and along the top of the window, my headliner along the top passenger side was wet

im 99% sure it is the 3rd brake light, its very common, i just put some silicone on the gasket but it was a pain in the *** to get off when i needed to replace a lightbulb...

But check your headliner and see if it is damp, mine was coming in and running down the window and got the carpet wet, luckly i saw it fast and got it takin care of....in the summer it will mildew and not smell good...
