I found my old ranger for sale at a dealer!

Small ever loving world!

Here is one of the last photos I have of it when it was mine (The dealer added the gay stripe:

It says it has 114K on the clock which means that since I traded it in feb of 04 it has had 30K put on it as it had 85K at trade. Not too bad considering the 04 had over 40K when I sold it 1.5 years ago. Looks like they ditched the duals for a factory exhaust though. But trust me it is my old truck. I put the ranger decal on the tailgate and the edge valance. Not to mention it had that stupid pin striping put on when it was sitting on the dealership where I traded it in's lot. At the price they are selling it at I would be half tempted to buy it back. Wouldn't that be a hoot!

I took the Grill out before I traded it in. The pics I have up there are from about a month before trade. I put it back to as stock as I could and sold the billet grill and transfered everything else to my 04. The only thing that was custom that has changed from when I traded it in to now is the exhaust, but that tailpipe doesn't have the signature ranger rust so I am guessing the swapped the duals for emissions legal factory exhaust. and yes I am sure! It is like a child you know it when you see it. Remember I traded it almost four years ago.

Just for kicks and giggles, you should try. I loved that truck and it wasn't even mine. I miss your Splash.

A few years back I was rear ended by an explorer that I traded in here in boston only a few months prior. At the time I had a new ranger which I traded the explorer for. Hit by my own car.... small world.

I'm with them, Buy it back! It appears you loved that truck and put a lot of time into it. Heck if I was you, I'd buy it back.

Thanks for the replies, but as it always happens cooler heads prevail. AS much as I like that truck and especially the color, the only reason to buy it now is nostalgia. I can find fifty rangers right here in watertown for the same money with the same miles. I really don't need another small truck I need a truck that can haul a car trailer. Now it is true that the explorer is on its way out and I can't decide what I want to replace it with, but I'll tell you it's not going to be another 7 year old truck with 100K+ miles. Already have that.
