Clear Corners

Did the Ranger ever come with completely clear corners? Ones that will fit an 08. If Ford only would have left off the amber square in the center of the corners.

How good quality wise are the after market ones? Any one have any leak problems with them, you know sweating on the inside? Any brands or sellers to stay away from?

Thanks

George

None are completly clear OEM. Mine are lasting. No condensation are leakage. Make sure you get the black edged ones. The white edged ones are but ugly. Got mine off of flea-bay from Sabersports or something like that. Be forewarned... they aren't entirely legal.

Not legal if you dont put a amber light in.

Thats one reasson why they dont come from the factory like that

The tiny amber square is how ford gets away with it on the 06+ rangers

^^50 state legal that is.... My state i believe it's a white or amber reflector in the front corner.

but......WHO GETS PULLED OVER FOR CLEAR CORNERS???????

They are great! I've had them off and on on my truck for the entire time of ownership, 4yrs. No leakage, moisture, and the like. Get 'em! They are cheap!

And i'll buy your 08's off ya.

George, This is the vendor I got my clears from
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=310049407605
Fit my 08 with no problem, got exactly what I ordered, and I'm very happy with them.

I think that's just a logo put on the picture so other sellers don't use their picture, not a logo on the actual product...somebody correct me if I'm wrong though...

LOL. That's just for the picture. There is nothing on the actual lens.

I doubt a LEO would pull you over JUST for having clear corners, but I have been pulled over in a small town cause they said my tires stuck out too far but as far as I know there is no law stating how much rubber you can have sticking out. I guess he was bored.

I have never had any problems either and they are completely legal. I have had a set of clear corners that were great and a set of blacked out clear corners(along with the blacked out heads) and never had a problem with either.
