Clear vs. Stock

I'm thinking about swapping out my stock amber tuns signals for clear. How do you guys think that would look on a 98 ranger?

i dunno. alot of people bash ricers, yet put clear corners and 'ricer' stuff on their tucks, i dont get it. i will NEVER put clear corners on my truck, i think they look ghey and take away from its trucky like appearance

Thought about doing the tails too, but i haven't found anything I really like yet. I'm okay with the stock tails for now, but I'd like to find something without the amber turn signals.

Not trying to bash the "ricer" look, not trying to imitate it either. Just trying to find something that looks more like the new production heads/tails that are coming out now.

to me, it depends on the color of the truck. some look great with clears, some colors don't.

I dont understand how clear corners are ricer? Since most ricer cars have the headlights and turn signals in a one peice design.

I honestly think they look a tad cheap and toy-like myself. To me these things are just a current fad for the younger crowd. But if you like flash and want to make your Ranger look different, they will certainly do that.

you should get yourself some carbon fiber tail lights. I just put some on my 98 ranger and they look bad ***. AS for clear corners i like the idea i am thinking about doing it my self. I think that it looks a lot cleaner with out the yellows.

I added 06 tails. I like the middle reverse without the amber turn. To each his own really.

I found these on eBay. I think they'll look a little more like current production without going over the top.

Heads
Tails

Also, will Silverstars work with these?

if you get them get these....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-00...QQcmdZViewItem

they match the stock headlights unlike 99% of the other corners out there that are not flutted

Ouch! I appreciate the offer, but I was gonna try to steer clear of the smoked lights. Thanks though.

Yeah if you get the clear corners (the REAL clear ones that arent 'fluted') def. get the clear headlamps.. I had both on my 2000 and I loved them.
