Clicking Noise
 
I was hoping someone would be able to help me figure out why when i turn i hear a clicking noise from my drivers side front tire area? and how might i go about fixing it?

constant noise? only under exceleration, decel? paint us the picture man

oh sorry no it only clicks when i turn either direction. It is a constant clicking too so if im driving im fine but as soon as i turn it starts clicking

sounds like a cv. thats not too bad, there abuot 60 bucks or so

yeah that does sound like you cv seeing youre 4wd,i bought one at advance auto eailer this year and it was like 75 and some change,only took me about 45 mins to change it,and that was my first time changing one

If you don't have a code reader I think there's a bunch of auto parts stores down there that check them for free!

help!!!!! so i have almost the whole cv half shaft out but for some reason i can get the axle out of the case....whats going on?

so you got the axle nut off right? it should just slid right out with a little muscle, i used a crow bar to pry mine out
