Clunking transmission

Clunking transmission
I don't know if this is where this is supposed to go so go ahead and move it mods. I tow my friends wakeboard boat almost every day down to the dock and where we hook it up at is on a sleight hill. Whenever I hook it up and then go to move my truck, the transmission makes this really loud clunking sound. Is this just because there is more weight on it and the hill or do you guys think there could be something wrong with it? thanks

Do you typically set the parking brake before taking your foot off of the brake. I am assuming you have an auto here. When you stop on a hill you are using park to hold the truck in place then you add more weight to that gear holding your truck and when you shift to drive the gear bangs. I would suggest using the parking brake.
