clutch problem
 

I have a hydraulic clutch problem. Clutch pedal goes to floor with no resistence. Engine won't roll over and it will go into any gear without pressing on the pedal.

Reads like master or slave is stuck.

First, do you have fluid in the Clutch reservoir?

Open bleeder on the bell housing see if there is any pressure, if you get a squirt of fluid that is most likely the slave closing so the problem will be in the Master cylinder check valve.

If no fluid, or just a dribble, comes out then Slave is stuck open, leave bleeder open and press the clutch pedal down, if fluid squirts out then Master is OK, Slave is bad.

"Engine won't roll over"??
Engine won't crank or start?

If engine is off then you should be able to shift into any gear.
If engine is idling then you can only shift into gear with clutch disc disengaged(pedal in/slave open) if that is the case then slave is open.

There is fluid in the reservoir.

Engine won't start. Battery is fully charged.

I would say a Master cylinder issue then, it reads like it has shifted or come loose.

On the upper clutch pedal arm there is a rod, a push rod, that goes to Master cylinder.
When you push in the clutch pedal this push rod pushes in the master cylinder piston which forces fluid into slave, which pushes on the pressure plate and disengages the clutch disc.

Clamped on this push rod is the Clutch safety switch, when you turn the key to START 12volts travels down a wire to the Clutch safety switch, if the switch is "closed" that 12volts travels to the starter relay which closes and activates the starter motor, so if the safety switch never closes starter motor will never come on.

The clutch safety switch is only "closed" when it is compressed between clutch pedal arm and master cylinder, so engine will only turn over/crank when clutch pedal is in.

If the master cylinder has moved or the push rod is damaged the switch would never be "closed".

So I would start there, under the dash at the upper clutch pedal.
