Clutch replacement ups and downs

Hey guys, just thought I’d pop in and share a fun story, got my clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder replaced a week or two ago and it didn’t go smoothly. Had to muscle it into every gear so it had to be done. First time I drove it home it felt like new. Then when I got back in it to go to work on Monday the clutch pedal froze half way down, couldn’t start it, the shop towed it in and they said a hose blew. Replaced it, for free, drove it home again. Then, the second time I hopped in it to go to work again, the clutch pedal went completely limp. Turns out my clutch pedal assembly was worn out, bushings or something they said. 400 on top of the 1400 I already spent but she’s back to getting me where I need to go, 215000 miles in. She’ll keep chugging along I swear!

Haha yeah it was a bit of a chunk out of my savings but I figure if every month it stays driving is a month I didn’t drop money on a car payment
