what is the difference between our trucks?
primer vs your nice paint job
20" wheels vs yours

i personally like your truck its clean like you said i built my truck to my liking and i make a change towards another direction i catch hell for it before i even got to finish explaining what my full motives are......

yeah steven don't let that kinda stuff get to you man... on ANY forum you join, when you're posting up your mods and/or asking for opinions, you're ALWAYS going to have people that don't like like em... but thats kind of the point; to get honest feedback, isnt it? you have to take the good with the bad.

Steven, Its a Generational thing I think. When I was your age (Like I am an old man ) or actuallly younger, I had a Completely different style than I have now. I look at Vehicles I have owned in th past and think "what the hell was I thinking?" My 88 Ranger had so many stickers on it that I could barely see out the rear window. I had Flex pipe Duals, and I built the ugliest Push bar ever for a truck that was more a street truck. But man I loved it! My First roadmaster had 15x7" steel Chrome american racing wheels and white letter tires, with glass packs, a huge Buick banner across the windshield, every performance brand sticker in the rear window like it was a race car and truck tips on the exhaust. I thought that car rocked, but now if I did the same thing with my Current Buick I would kick my self in the nuts. The majority of us were there once, liked some type of vehicle some type of MOD that we wouldn't be caught dead with today. I Give you major Kudos because you take your transitions of style and put it into the same vehicle. The First time I recall seeing you truck it was a lowrider and had a Complete different character than it does today. Who knows what it will look like tomorrow! Take these peoples opions with a grain of salt. There are plenty of trucks on this website that makes me think, "What are they thinking" But I bet they enjoy it a bunch more than I did with my basically stock truck.

ANd besides, no matter what you do to your truck it's a truck not a Tempo!

^ My Best Friend thought that car rocked in High school, but now we joke about it. Wouldn't trade the stories about that car for the world!

102" whip is the only way to go. I'll have one(again) as soon as I get a rack on my cap.......and that will happen as soon as it's running. lol

I'll bite. The optimum length of a cb antenna should be around 6 feet for a vehicle? Obviously 4 foot is the standard. So obviously you didn't buy it for performance.

Is this a boat cb antenna whip? I had one and it scratched the top of my roof a little bit. It was rather crappy looking and hit branches like none other.

But whatever floats your boat man. The whole thing is, what group are you in? Show truck? Redneck? Right now you're not offroad enough for people to respect you, but with the primer and 9 foot antenna, show truck guys aren't digging it!

So win the lottery and do all your mods now!

Oh yah, cut that antenna in half.

I have two or three 102" antenna's (I gave one to Andy, but I can't remember how many I had). I love them! With the right radio, I've found it to be the most superior antenna on the market. Not to mention cheap! They are $12 at radio shack. My Cb days are pretty much over but nothing beats playing CB tag with one of those! You could get so far away from people and there meters would make it look like you are closer. Not to mention I had a boot, so if I really wanted to hide I'd flip that and most people's meters would peg! Not a nice thing to do but I was young and it was fun at the time.
