Compliments on the Ranger

This evening I was on my way to BlockBuster to pick up a movie when I heard somebody honking. I looked over and there is some old guy(in his late 50's-early 60's) in a Navigator motioning at me, so I rolled down my window to see what he wanted. He just wanted to say "Nice Truck!". I haven't done anything special to it, but it is awesome when you have somebody go out of there way to compliment you truck. It just makes you feel good.

I just thought I would share!

Yes, it always feels nice when someone gives you a compliment. It makes you happy about what you've done and makes you want to do more.

I love it!! All my friends love my truck including a bunch of my female friends... Nothing personal, ladies.

It's great cause when I'm at work, I park so I can see my truck, and every now and then I will be talking to someone about their truck and I'll mention my truck and point to it, and they're like "whoa! that's your truck? sweet, man!" or something like that.

Makes me want to go to work to make money for stuff for my truck and then I'm broke whenever I buy something, so I have to drive as little as possible and remember not to get snacks at work...blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah......

So yeah, it feels really awesome to get a compliment on your baby...

Oh and the only thing that sucks is when Ranger owners start saying someting about it being 4WD cause it's got Kyle's old flares on it, and I gotta stop and mutter, "ummm... it's 2WD" It's almost as embarrassing as the day my wiener poked outta my boxers in the locker room....

yeh the other day when i got my 32s on my old assistant manager was like, "man i dont like rangers but yours looks good" and i beleive him b/c he aint never been afraid to say how he feels before so i guess hes being sincere. also right after i got them on a ranger passed me on the other side of the road and revved and looked over, i didnt rev back (i got glasspacks) but it felt good to be acknowledged by a bigger and nicer ranger.

yeah man... one time i was stopped for a train. and the guy next to me was in a brand new cadillac. he got out of his car to move a big limb out of his way and then came up to me and asked me how much i wanted for my truck. lol... this guy was in his late 50s as well. but he said its real nice truck and he wants one just like it. it always feels good to hear someone say something like that

I haven't gotten any actual compliments from strangers on the street, but then, I don't have my lift yet.

I have only gotten a that a nice truck once by an autozone employee. He thought I had the best looking grill for the 04-05 rangers. But there are alot of rangers on the street by me and unless you have done something major to it people see it as another truck on the road

When I pulled into the car wash today, someone in a new Frontier asked me if I had a supercharger, lol. It's too bad my truck's bark is so much bigger than its bite.

I yell lots of **** out the window of my truck at nice cars... Most people respond nicely, although a few people have been dicks like the time I was next to a Newer Ferrari and told the guy he had a nice ride and he gave me a look like I wasnt good enough to talk to him.
