ranger very soon https://breedlovemounts.com/
See this EZN 4 degree bracket this is a stake pocket
mount but it has a 4% so antenna will sit upright.

The stuff looks good, the Ball Mount is impressive.
I have book marked his site, thanks.

Remember to add a ground strap (⅝” or larger braided strap) to the mount or at least the bed to frame and don’t forget the infamous bare metal thing.

If you are into communications and want to eliminate a lot of the static that comes in through the system, you can add grounds straps to everything movable, I.e. doors to body, tail gate to body, hood to body, he's even the plastic ones. Brd straps and cab straps are a must too as you said.
Also, the antenna mounts and the radio chassis along with the blk power wire that should go to the battery with the red one.

I use 3/8" braided straps added to all of the above places, does it help, not really sure but I talk a lot on the HAM Radio without any problems but that ins FM not AM.

Luck on your project.

Not sure ground straps will help with tire noise or bridge grating but who know.

Enjoy your radio and communications.

Tire noise is very hard to stop from what i have seen on line.
But i only had one car that had it. It's a shame radioshack don't
sale the filters they used to have all you can find any more is
snap on toroids in small parts. They need a name change

The Rat Shaq was never any good, except for small parts, as far as I am concerned; another story.

Funny on the tire noise, sometimes sipping the tread ! lol.

You can find anything Rat Shaq had/has on line, there are always helpful sites, some for just CB use or HAM Sites.
If they went away it would be no loss.
