Does anyone else have this problem? The small corner rectangle piece between the door and rear glass fell off. Both sides within days of each other. Is this common? What is the proper name? What is the cost?

 

No one knows the name of these things? Am i the only one that has had them fall off?

I have some sort of an idea oddly enough. I've seen a few JY rangers with this. I'm not too sure how it attaches, so pictures would help.

 

You are talking about this piece right? My passenger side one started to come loose. I just popped it off the rest of the way and re-attached it with some 30 sec epoxy from the auto parts store. It hasn't moved since. It looked like it was originally held on with some sort of adhesive.

It didn't even occur that it might be ^that piece.

 

Joe, mine is doing the same thing and I think I will glue it back soon. Mine has come loose on the front edge the back side is still bonded though. I think the quick setting epoxy is the way to go.

I just looked. My truck doesn't have those. I'm guessing it's only a reg cab/2dr ext cab thing?

Sorry about the poor description. Could not figure out how to post a pic. It is a reg. cab. looks like smash lizard's photo. . Does any one know the name? I lost the pass. side one just wonder if its worth buying new one then paint and install or go to pull a part and and hope they have a green one and just glue it back. Thanks again to everyone. I didnt know if this was a common problem or someone else need them for there truck!lol!

 

Extended cab 2 doors also have them but their much longer and have two studs that have nuts on them through the inside to keep them from falling off.
