Correct offset with superlift
Hello! I'm new on here and I'm sure this question has already been asked but I'm having trouble finding what I'm looking for. I have a 2008 ranger 4x4 sport and plan to install the 4 inch superlift on it. I want to put 33" tires on it afterwards and am wondering what offset/backspace will make it so there is no rubbing. I want to go with 17 inch wheels and would strongly prefer aluminum instead of steel, and some good websites to buy wheels from. Thanks!

I'd look on summit. That's the best price I could find for my 18s

Do you plan on doing the pre-key mod/cranking your torsion bars?
If so, as a reference, I run 33x12.50s on 15x8 wheels w/ 3.625" of backspacing on my truck (2002 4x4, super lifted, torsion bars cranked). When I still had mud flaps, the front tires would rub them at full lock when the suspension cycled. With the mudflaps off, I have no rubbing at all. (I wheel the truck a decent amount too, and haven't had any). |
I was told with the lift kit it will level it out. Would you recommend a t bar crank to make it level?

I meant to gain some more clearance for the tires, since your truck sits an inch lower than pre-08 trucks. Also, it was to give you a reference, as your truck with cranked bars would be similar to my truck. |
