Your going to hate that harbor freight compressor soon, those things are junk. I'd start saving for a viair. I can't wait to get my horns on!

Not bad not bad...

You're going to hate that compressor. It's absolutely garbage for air horn/bag setups. I went through 7 of them before they said we can't keep replacing these on a lifetime warranty and gave me my money back. Bought my first ViAir 380c after that.... Soon after that came a 2nd 380c. I'll never look back. Much quieter, faster fills, and 100% reliable.

As far as the horns go... It might be 152dB right in front of the horns, which isn't bad... But can you be heard from 2miles away?

Hate to say it, but you'll think of this post when you have to return it in a week.

No biggie man... I did the same thing... Started out with 5gal HF tank, HF compressor... That soon went to 2 Firestone tanks, then 1 380c, then a 2nd 380c and now I'm looking at a 3rd 380c. You just got bit by the on-board air bug. Trust me.

As far as being heard 3mi away, I'm gonna call BS. Dude I'm running real train horns with 6gal of air at 200psi and 1/2in Air line and I can barely be heard 3mi away.... Over $1k invested vs. $200.... But if you say so

as for the train horn i bought if off eBay for like 75 bucks because the company was selling the ones that had little scratches and a bubble or two in the chrome
i love the horn...

but yes the compressor and tank are from harbor freight.
