gas siphoning?

gas siphoning?

Alright i know you guys are probably against siphoning from rangers but, i have my old truck that spun a bearing and it has like 3/4 of a tank of 89 in it and i really want to get it out since its just going to sit until i get around to replacing the engine, i have a hand pump thing but i can't get it in the whole way, any ideas

long section of garden hose. keep blowing into the hose until gas comes out........

Do it the right way, with a one way check valve like is provided in this siphon hose:

doesn't the tank have a drain hole? I've never actually checked on mine. I know my wife's car does (honda civic)

huh i never would of though they would have one i'll have to look but it don't think so, and i have a pump i just cant get the hose down into the tank it wont enter the top i tried garden hose to connect it to my pump but thats worse is there something in there were the filler hose connects or what?

use like a high pressure garden hose the stiff ones. i just did my truck not to long ago. just blow in the damn hose (don't blow it) gas will come out you'll be able to hear it coming.

Attach a hose to the fuel line schrader valve up by the engine, after you remove the schrader valve from it (same style as tire valvestem schrader valves).

Apply power to the fuel pump, and let that do the work for you.

So I have to ask, this question wouldn't happen to correlate with the high gas prices would it?

Don't use your mouth, period. Gas is not something you even want to get on your skin much less your mouth. Take a look at the makeup, you'll agree.

yeah i'm staying away from using my mouth, and yes its partly the high gas prices since i have 3/4 of a tank just sitting and i'm afraid that with the ethonal in the gas that by the time i do get the new engine put in that the gas wont be very good after sitting for probably about two months, thats why i want to use my pump, but like i said i have a problem with the hose not going down into the tank

american valve on the fuel line. quick and easy. no work. or drill a hole and patch later
