Anyone think this would be a good deal?

Looking to get a winter beater to keep miles off of the new ranger just wondering if anyone thought this would be a good deal.

since your from MN why not look into a 4x4 winter beater? two wheel drive really suck in the snow.

Why would you need a winter beater if you drive a 4 x 4 Ranger? Thats pretty much a perfect winter vehicle. If you drove a rear wheel drive v8 then I could see it. If you are just looking for a truck to beat on and abuse then that little ranger would be good. When you get 8 inches of snow.. that little 2wd ranger will be stuck faster than your fingers on fast drying epoxy.

For clarification, I am buying another Ranger as my spare and winter beater. I would drive the 2wd 4cyl when weather permitted and use the 03 4x4 (only has 18k miles would like to keep it low) when I need it. the rust belt hasn't had too much snow so far this year.
