Custom Door Handles

Hey everyone, I'm new and I could use some help. I went through about 10 pages of search results with no answer. So here's what I'm trying to find out. Can I take the exterior door handles from a Chevy Silverado like the one in the picture and retrofit them to my 2006 Ranger XL? I currently have normal stock door handles but I really have always liked the look of the Silverado handles. Thanks in advance and please let me know if I've left off any important info.

Sure, why not.

You will need to make sure the curves of the metal are close to the same and make appropriate gaskets to seal the edges.
Cutting out the metal needs to be done carefully and make sure to prime and paint the bare metal edges after cutting

And a custom rod for inside the door

I personally think they will look way too big on the Ranger door

Oh.....and you will need to use Chevy keys in the locks, not sure the cylinders can be changed to Ford, but ask a locksmith
