I normally drive at 15 over all the time and luckily haven't been pulled over yet. But when I go places and go with someone else driving their car/truck I try to drive the opposite style (slow vs fast) as they do to see if I even get there any faster. Normally it winds up being the same or I beat them only because I know what lanes to be in. I think from now on I'm going to only drive 5 over and try to get some better fuel mileage that way. Plus I have ****ty luck with getting in trouble by the cops already so I don't need to increase my chances of getting in trouble even more.

ha he pulled out the sport bike card... who cares that you can go fast on one of those, they are cool bikes don't get me wrong but they're not comfortable to ride and the only way to have fun is breaking the law. but if you think you need to show off that you have a 1000 by all means do so. I'll just enjoy the fact that I have a longer life expectancy!

it does **** me off that the insurance co. can check on my driving record. 5 years ago a car turned left in front of me (no signal!) while i was about to pass. hit it and spun the car around. did some bumper damage to the other car and bent the tailpipe. the taurus wasnt so lucky, bent the hood, took out the header panel, radeator (just put a new one in the day before) and a few minor items. i only carry liability, my rates didnt go up. a year later im in a 45 headed out of town past a empty warehouse, im talking to my wife and didnt notice my speed, cruise control on the truck not working. its a clear day with no traffic and no reason for it not to be a "55" area. apparently i was doing about 56, the only car on the road was coming towards me, yep, you guessed it. i did get my seat belt on before i was stopped and got out of that much of it. 3 months later, i get a letter of premium increase from the insurance co. i could understand it if it cost them money, but this was B.S. i paid off the truck as soon as i could and dropped its coverage to minimum liability. both the car/truck are '93's so its not like its really worth carring full coverge on. ive been lucky the last 4 years, should be back to no points as well.
