Update -

I am now back home. However, I decided to stop by my Aunt's house to take a look at the truck and see if any wiring connector clips were broken, and I wanted to take one fo the screw clip thingies with me to make sure that the new screws I was gonna get were indeed going to fit.

I went with my cousin to run an errand and after we got back, I looked and saw the white Ranger with the ****ty tint job that I noticed on Monday was in the driveway. Well, he no longer had the same lights on his truck. Guess what lights he had?



WHAT KIND OF IDIOT STEALS A SET OF LIGHTS FROM HIS NEIGHBOR THEN PUTS THEM ON HIS TRUCK LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED?????? YES they are my lights. It's not like they are nightshaded like his old ones were. In fact, his ******* CHMSL is still nightshaded like the other mystery set of lights he had were!

His old lights were nighshaded poorly, and they masked off the reverse lamp area when they did it. They were very very dark. But these obviously aren't.

I have more pics that I took with my cousins phone. My favorite pic I have that I will post is the one where you can see my truck (with no tails in it still) parked 15 feet from this guys truck.

What kind of crack is this guy smoking, and how big is it making his ******* *****??????

Yes, I called the cops. They can't do anything about it yet so I have to wait but they took pics and have the guys info already so hes screwed. I will press charges too. I dont **** around.

I am trying to do it legally seeing as we already filed a police report when it initially happened. Plus I found out that a Silverado around the corner also had its lights stolen the same night, so if somehow this leads to him getting his stuff back too then I think it's worth it.

If it doesn't work, then swift and blinding justice.

 

BTW, does the truck look familiar to any SoCal folk? Maybe you can talk some sense into this guy before the cops talk to him.

Remember.... I have pics of when I painted these lights. From all angles. So I have documentation that these would in fact be mine.

You guys might want to be careful about how you "talk" on a public forum.

 

I never liked the idea of messing with another man's vehicle but the guy certainly isn't too bright. He is just a damn moron. Period.

I don't think this guy lives there, but I think he is a friend of the people that do. Still messed up.

note - all pics were taken from the public sidewalk. I never set foot on his property until requested to do so by the police officer when she came to investigate.

i can already tell from the pics that they are yours.....just by the quality of the work

but if it all goes to hell...and i knew beyond any doubt they were mine....i'd smack them with a hammer first chance i got

 

I have insurance so worst case, I can make a claim and my comprehensive insurance will cover it with no deductable. ( I have a police report already) but for the $130 these lights will cost, I don't think it's worth it.

Especially seeing as the lights are RIGHT THERE. lol

 

Man forget that, I'd be dealing with that one myself.

Heres what you do, take the lights back and then get either Liquid *** or some of the coyote **** that they sell in bottles in outdoor stores or whatever and squirt a ton of it inbetween the little door window seals. I've come really close to doing it a few times in the past. I think the only way they'll 100% remove the smell is with an ozone generator.

 

One night take a hammer and knock out a truck window. A few nights later remove valve stem cores. A week later smash headlights. Keep it up and be random. A quart of oil in the gas tank can't be too good. Spray painting random **** on the truck is good too. Put a dead fish somewhere under the truck. It will stink bad soon. Put some diesel fuel in his gas tank if you want to get nasty........

but im glad ur taking it the smart way first. Thats what im trying with my truck....i know the guy who hit me and ran....my friends know where he lives...and he goes to my highschool BUT, i want him to get legally F'd and get tons of community service hours or something so he can think about what he did every minute he serves em....cuz right now beating his *** would just aid him...cuz everythings on my side right now.

Sorry to hear that happened, Steve. Please keep us up to date on what's happening with the moron with the white truck.

 

Do you happen to have any pics where the white truck appears on the background with the 'original' tails and not yours? Maybe that could help speed up the process. Maybe your aunt took a pic and that truck is there... That way he'd have to prove how he got those tails... I know it sounds like a lot of work, but that's what I'd do...
