i ordered my new bl, 35's, 15x10's, and new body mount bushings on tuesday....they guaranteed everything to be here by friday.....so i called today to check on my order.....what did they tell me.....oh yea the bushings are coming from daystar and wont be there until monday! i had already made arrangements to get help to install the bl saturday!!!!!! what a crock of shat! i called summit and they can guarantee them by tomorrow if i pay 20$ for overnight shipping.....i think i will try to make 4 wheel parts pay for it since they guaranteed them to be there by friday................

i will have to remember that no matter what kind of deal they through at you that you will get ****ty customer service from 4 wheel parts!!!! another thing is that they charged me sales tax even though i bought it from a store in Columbus, OH.....and they charged me OH sales tax.....I LIVE IN INDIANA! what another crock!

summitracing is far better then 4wp. and they will even beat 4wp pricing.

not to mention if summitracing has those spacers in the ohio warehouse you will have them next day on regular shipping. atleast i usually do.

and my tracking number shows it goes to indy before it comes to my house.

 

two years ago my neighbor ordered them for his jeep and they sent the wrong ones 3 times before they sent the right ones and these were the 3rd pair which they told him just to keep since they didnt want to pay to ship them again and he gave them to me since i helped him put his lift on cant beat free rock crawlers

 

they wouldn't beat these prices since they weren't advertised prices.......i got the 35x12.5x15 BF Goodrich All-Terrain's for $139.99 a piece, the 15x10 Mickey Thompson Classic II's for $99.90 a piece, the bl for $150 and the bushings for $45.........all total shipped to my door was $1,300

summit said that since it wasn't an advertised price they couldn't match it......when i got my 33 bfg all terrains i paid $139.99 a tire for them 3 years ago.....

yea but after saturday my brother is going out of town till the 4th.....he is the one helping me.......so i kinda HAVE to get it done so you can buy the tires & wheels

 

If you cant get it done then I may be able to get you started on it but may not be able to stay the whole time. The hardest part is getting the body bolts out put seeing how you are going with new bushings that should be pretty easy. What about a local parts store or Ford dealer for the Body Bushings? Have you checked there, they may be a little more pricey but may be the only option.

 

^ Good point on the bushings...I know that all the local 4x4 shops around here carry Daystar products....so perhaps you could find em there...how ever your gonna loose your awsome price on em...but then you could always complain to 4WP

 

Man, I don't buy **** from 4wp unless it's in stock and I can leave right then and there with it. I ordered my PIAA's off 4wp, ugh, never again will I deal with them and their "ordering process".

Damn that first link just tears up 4wp's reputation!! I wish I could see stuff like that before it happens to me. Oh well, I'm content with being a guinea pig I guess. I let the f* bomb fly all over the store when my lights came in as 540's (cheap 55w driving lights) when I ordered 520's (85w crystal-ion lens). Needless to say my 520's were at the store in two days with a 20% "customer appreciation" rebate. I think they gave me that cuz they'd appreciate it if I didn't make another scene in their store haha.

 

i ordered bushings from summit and they guaranteed them here tomorrow......

4 wheel parts told me they had them in stock and when i called for the tracking #'s they said that the bushing were coming from the manufacture........

i told them i didnt want the bushings just to cancle the order....what did they say.....well they have already shipped so when you get them we will have ups come by and pick them up and then we will give you a refund.....i better get my $50 back or somebody's *** will pay! i may just drive them up to indy when i go see my dad next weekend!

 

In this BBB report it states that the tires may develop severe pulls and bulges at 12k, 15k, and 20k miles....shocking....however whats more shocking is that it also states that it is more or less caused from driving at or around 94mph......well the bulges dont surprise me one bit then....94mph is a lutacris speed to request of from an M/T or any tire at that, which is not rated at such! And besides....what is the hurry? Why drive 94mph to begin with?

i even got the bushings shipped for the same price 4 wheel parts had them for without shipping......aint that a crock.....4 wheel parts was susposed to match summits price and yet they did.......they also tried to sell me a daystar kit which will only fit an '83-93 ranger.........

 

cheezz, im glad i work at a shop that doesnt have problems like these. We just have ignorant rednecks that want to take advantage of the company anyway they can.

Ive never had, or heard of problems with them from anyone i know, hell thats even why i got the job there. I love the discounts, and we have a huge distrobution center across town so we 99% of the time have the part nearby.

 

4 Wheel Parts is opening a store right across the street from our dealership and the owner is irate. I work close with the owner and he cancelled our account with Trans American who supplies all 4wheel Parts stores. We're not the only ones though, we have spoken to numerous other wholesale customers of Trans American who have since cancelled their accounts and gone with other distributors. 4 Wheel Parts is digging its own grave right now.

 

now let me tell ya what the stink is with 4 wheel parts.......i called to get my body lift tracking #.....i track it and it says that it wont be here till monday......MONDAY!!! what a crock........the guy i ordered it from guaranteed EVERYTHING here by today.....i have to go pick up the tires and wheels at the warehouse so i can get them today.....summit delivered my bushings today but now i am f'n stuck on waiting for the BL.....god i hate 4 wheel parts and will NEVER EVER do business with them again....no matter how much they beat others prices.......i could've paid summit and already had everything.......
