Dash cam

Just ordered a Jansite 7" view screen front & rear dash cam. Has most features rear night vision, park assist, g shock, & twin screen viewing.
Has anyone dealt with this company ? Where would a good mounting place for the backup cam (xlt ext cab with cap)?
Unit fits over rear view mirror .
Thanks

I'm interested. How's it working for you and where did you mount the cameras?

I got a $40 off amazon - working great, sad Ive had it a week and already recorded a yuppy passing me in a no passing zone, guy running a red light - video shows i had solid green for a good 1-2 sec and he comes sailing thru the intersection.

Get one, anyone, no excuse nowadays with a pretty decent one for $40. and if you get involved in a wreck or some other situation where the police are involved DO NOT inform the other party you have a camera. Let them lie to the police and make up whatever they want. Then when you are being questioned show the officer via camera exactly what happened - if whatever the other party says happened doesn't correlate to what the camera sees guess who the cops are going to believe? Then they can get caught on all sorts of charges - false report, insurance fraud, etc.

sent mine back would sd slot was shot. Purchased a Naptronics 7" touch screen dash cam. Have it mounted above lic. plate . Over all good product except at night, glare from head lights blocks some of view. May reposition to top of topper.
People tend to back off when tailgating when camera is switched to rear view {4 little lights turn on} 170% wide angle lens. I prefer the 7" touch screen, just make sure any brand you buy states Night vision camera
Good to have when there is a he said she said situation, you have the proof.
Paid $69 & it has all the bells etc. Got it off amazon .

Which is illegal to have mounted unless actively towing a trailer in IL btw...
Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for HB3669
been that way since 2011.
Things like that end up screwing you in court if you get rear-ended, same goes for smoked taillights, LED insert bulbs, missing reflectors, burned out bulbs, license plate frames that cover the plate or obstruct the writing on the plate (including "Illinois" across the top - aka nearly all dealer advertisement plate frames), FLASHING 3rd brake lights which I see way too many of nowadays just to name a few. Plenty of scammers out there ready to scam you over those things as well and purposely hit you. That and gives the ol bacon brigade a reason to pull you over for any number of the above mentioned.

Yes I did. You have to judge 4 yourself the placement of the camera the best view. I also purchased the extended cable (for pickup trucks) for rear camera to give me a little lead way on where I want to place it.
The one it came with fits up to the lic plate.
Side note * behind driver seat under rug is a rubber patch you can go through (can see from underneath Truck) so no drilling in cab.
