and how come you made a left turn in front of an oncoming vehicle? you said you thought the light was green, but anytime it's NOT a green arrow and you are making a left turn, you need to yield to oncoming traffic.
I know i sound like some parent yelling at a kid, but you or your G/F could have been killed.
wow.. i screwed that up... i meant it said "turn left" i'll change it.

and it all happened so fast, that the solid green vs. green arrow didn't click. I saw green and went.

he didnt stick around. lol

I was hoping to have my first vehicle for a little longer than 3 months but it is what it is. Everything i did to it was bolt-on so I'll just pull the stuff in put it in the next one.

and stupid BS like this has been happening for the last 3 weeks straight... getting more and more expensive.

^I was wondering the same thing: If the GPS said turn right, why were you turning left?

*EDIT: NVM! Just read your response.

Thank God there were no casualties.

i got my left and right mixed up when i was telling the story... I do that a lot because I used to be a flight sergeant in Civil Air Patrol (the guy that says left face, forward march etc.) and the left and right are backwards. but left is where i needed to go lol.

yeah, I know she wont break up with me over this, but she's definitely scared.

my dad flipped his jeep on ice with my mom in the passenger seat just before they got married.

I'm glad to hear you and your girl are alright. It sucks being distracted like that though... that's why I only have a GPS in my work truck and not my personal truck. I really don't WANT it in my work truck, but I have to since I make stops around Mass installin cable and internet.

Good thinking in regards to speeding up. Most people would have slammed on their brakes which would have made the impact MUCH different.

she's still shaken up pretty bad. she and I sat next to eachother tonight while with other friends, but interaction between us was minimal, and when i tried to give her a hug afterwards she pushed me away and said "im not ready yet... give me a couple days and we'll talk about it... we need to."
