she's still shaken up pretty bad. she and I sat next to eachother tonight while with other friends, but interaction between us was minimal, and when i tried to give her a hug afterwards she pushed me away and said "im not ready yet... give me a couple days and we'll talk about it... we need to."
makes me think otherwise of the girl, but i dont know the situation so i wont comment any further.

as bad as this situation is, i find humor in the fact that Ranger-Forums.com is now a place of relationship counseling!! what a great website!!! you can find awesome stuff for rangers plus makes tons of new friends and get help in all kinds of situations regarding dating and relationships! who needs to pay a consoler when you got RF? what more could somebody ask for from an internet forums?

wow man, Im real glad to see you made it through ok, and that your instincts saved your g/f from severely being hurt or killed. flipping is no joke because once you go over, even to the side, you have literally lost any and all control of the situation and can only hold on and hope for the best.
Ive had 2 instances of a roll over, 1 on a bike (S.C.A.R.Y !!) and once in my old AMC Eagle (talk about being built like a *tank* !) and it was the same thing, in both instances, someone came up to me after and asked how in the H*** I survived it without a scratch. which of course, I couldnt answer.
when I rolled the car, there was 3 other accidents almost identical to mine that week, and in all 3 people were killed, mine was the only one that no one got hurt.
you obviously have never been in a serious accident, if you had, then you wouldnt make inane comments like that. I hope when the time comes (it will, its unavoidable in FL) and you do experience a serious accident, that you will have the same luck and wont be injured, and can learn a valuable lesson.
that will change.
Im sorry, but Im with 04blackedge about this, she needs to realize you made an honest mistake (Im pretty sure everyone on these boards has done the same at 1 time or another...) and that you saved her from serious injury or worse. she should understand that your suffering every bit as much as she and that acting the way she is shows a very selfish nature.
if she does end up breaking up with you over this, do me one big favor, dont get all worked up about it as it will show her truer colors. move on, and find someone who will treat you better.

It's the dumb **** that led up to this that has her kinda ticked. But I'm almost positive that she isn't saying anything right now because she doesn't want to hurt either of us any more than necessary. I know it sounds all bad on paper, but it's really not lol. I've known this girl since we were 3. (and yes, she just turned 19 and I'm almost 19 whoever was asking. Sorry, I'm replying on my iPhone)

Damn man, just read your original post.
I actually flipped a Toyota 4Runner last Snuday. Haven't had time to post the pictures, but I am with you on the "good feeling seatbelt" thing.
Glad you and Janelle are safe. BTW, this hits a little at home, as a great friend of mine whom I love dearly ...her name is Janelle.

^ Your situation reminds me of me years ago. I remember being pulled over by this traffic officer and I just snapped. (It was my first ticket and I was speeding because of her trash talk towards a former friend of mine. I just wanted to get to her place and go). It was a monday. That week we hardly spoke to each other and next week we broke up. lol. Next week I called this chick and here I am 5 years later with the strongest relationship ever. Hope everything works out on your side, tho.

Lol iphones own im on mine too, what saves lives in a rollover is seat belts, i was in a jeep well 54 ******, in a wreck where we rolled 6 times down a hill i only had a lapbelt on as i was in the back, but they do their job holding you in, its like a bullet proof vest it does no good when its not used, **** happens at the worst times man thats what good insurance is for! Least you and her are ok thats the main thing.

Ha, it actually wasn't mine! I was in a 7-day advanced shooting and driving course and went around this one corner and over we went. Damn dirt eroded away and off I went.
Luckily, all 4 inside were perfectly fine.
Look at that skidplate! I want to get one like that custom made!

Edit. Just seen that you've been driving for 3 months now? Is that right?

i've had the truck for 3 months, but i've been driving for about 1.5 years. And most people would have locked up the brakes, which would have caused injuries to occur. I wasn't trying to be a cocky bastard. it was me being thankful for the training I've had that helped me react to my mistake, and minimize the casualties.
