Diablosport tuner need to set new gear ratio

So my diablosport tuner has the option to change the gear ratio in the tune. Well now that I have 4.88s I need to correct that in the tuner. But it goes from 4.55 to 5.13. I guess I just select one of those?

5.13 is closest, but I'd see if you can't get an update for the right one.

My guess is so you don't lose the stock tune.

Maybe you can set it to 5.13s and then change your tire size to make it equal 4.56 range?

Anyone know if you can update with a Mac? I'm waiting for the Predator to get to me that I bought from Jeweler54... I'm not sure if it'll need to be updated before I use it.

I don't see anything about a Mac, so I don't think you can.

you should be fine there is just a few of us out there with wierd cal id's(like me) i know he bought that tunner like 6 months ago so i think it should have 9r03 on it 9r04 is the current but its just a internal update and 9r05 should be out next week which will cover most of us with funky cal ids i say give it a try if it pops up saying "cal id not supported call diablosport tech support" then i would worry about a updating it

Yep. That is what I did with my xcalibrator 2 for my Sport Trac. The range of gearing only went up to 4.56 and I had 4.88s. Just set it to the closest one and play with tire revs per mile until the speedo works out correctly. You could use gear calculators to figure it out close, then reference it by GPS and make adjustments to get it right on.

Try setting it to 37" tires with 5.13 gears, it will be real close to start out with.
