diagram for front 4x4

does any one have the diagram to take the hub of the front of my 1999 4x4 ranger its a plastic hub with a screen in the center , and is there a special tool to take the plastic peace off i need to change the wheel bearing

changed my wheel bearing now my 4wd doesnt work i need to put O-rings on my my wheel hub for vacum seal so it will go into 4wd

There is no O-Ring.

there is a hard line line sticking off the top of the knuckle, trace the rubber hose (which probably needs replacing) to see if it has any cracks or tears in it. if there is a single tear or missing hose the 4x4 system will not work.

On the passenger side frame rail, towards the front of the truck will be the valve that controls the whole system. Also check that.

the PVH hubs are garbage. Spend $130 and upgrade to the AVM lockers. I had my system in working order and one day my hubs decided not to come out of 4x4 anymore.

For future refrence, Taking the PVH plastic piece off of the hubs (if they're stock) requires lifting the plastic tabs over the two or three ridges on the outside of the hub and pulling the hub out to you

If it is an aftermarket hub, there will be no ridges and just requires lifting of the tabs.

There is a rubber o ring were the pvh mounts. it goes around the outside of the bearing to create a tight seal.
