Transportation to NC from Northeastern MA
Hey to all,
Taylor has purchased a Manual Transfer Case Setup from me and it looks like he might need a means of transporting it to Nashville, NC from Northeastern MA.
It is a little too far for me to drive in my truck, the mpg would kill us both.
Anyone going in that direction or know of a friend that is and might consider transporting the T/C to Taylor ?
Thanks up front !

just ship it!
Small Pallet: Free at any business
Ratchet straps: $10
Greyhound shipping: ≤$100
Fuel: ≤$50
Location: closest to you (Grev) is Boston at South Station. Closest to Taylor, is 20 minutes away, I've already looked up info.
clinton, it sounds like I'll be meeting you in the near future if it comes down to that lol

But the Ratchet Strap idea is a good one.
Thanks for that so we are talking only 1.25 hour trip instead of 2 hours to you P.C.
What did you estimate for the shipping weight ?

Got a small pallet, 24 x 24”, a little on the HD side but that shouldn’t hurt.
Need to drain the T/C, block it up for side motion, get the other parts on the pallet and determine if P.C.’s method of using ratchet straps will be OK for shipment; they should hold up but will the shipping company accept them.
Wonder if someone will steal them in transit ?
Getting there faster than working on the Ranger.
Now will the Bus Company take the palletized parts ?
If not will need to get a shipping company quote.
Time will tell.
