Do you have an Xcab around 04 with tan int.?

I'm building a custom speakerbox for my truck and I'm looking for the flat rear panel that goes under the rear window. Mine has the spot for the jack and tools. I think....if your truck doesn't have 4 doors it has the flat panel back there. My idea was to take a VIN from a truck that has the correct panel to Ford parts they could order it for me. Mine is an 04 with tan interior.

I've been needing to do this myself. Put a 2dr back wall in my 4dr...all to eliminate a huge scratch from a tv and to eliminate the moldings for the darn spare tire crap.

If I remember correctly, you'll need to cut up your existing back wall(keep the upper half), then cut your quarter plastics to fit the lower half of the wall.

Be aware: some 2drs have cupholders molded in the back wall...some 2dr's dont.

I would use the dealership as a last resort. Check the classifieds on here, and hit up junk yards first.

^^Exactly. $15 from a yard, $300 from Ford. lol.

*I don't know prices, I just sorta pulled that out of somewhere. lol.

Forgot to add that I've not looked too heavily into doing this for quite some time. I'll nab a 2dr back panel if I can ever find a 2dr w/ dark grey and w/o the cupholders.

Hmmm, I thought it would replace the panel that is there. If I have to cut....maybe I'll just modify the one that is there.

If you look at the back panels.....you'll see the differences. The 2dr is a 2 piece panel, upper half and bottom half. also where the plastic is in the corners of the cab are way different. I just can't remember which one is bigger(wraps in to the back wall more) or which one is smaller.
