Never.
My F150 had been smoked in before I bought it, but the dealer did a very good job of (temporarily) covering it up. I still smell it on random occasions a little bit.
Smoking in their can kill the resale value, plus it just smells like butt.
Tell them to get their own car if they want to smoke.

i roll all the time with both my windows all the way down. my truck doesnt smell like smoke except when i leave a butt or something in it to finish later. even when it does smell a cruise around the block with the windows down and its all good.

My truck probably smells more like tires from my driving home from work than it does from any kind of smoke

i let people smoke in my truck, and i do every once and a while. But i have pine tree air freshers and if someone is smoking both windows are crack, i dont notice the smell, but im always clean my interior.

i will not smoke in the rx7, just to protect the resale value and id hate to see ashes or burn marks in that car.

its a simple choice. you have stated that it bothers you a little in the long run.

just weigh how much the smoke bothers you to the enjoyment of the passengers in your car by allowing them to smoke.

before i smoked i never had a problem with people smoking in my car. either way its your choice

Like it goes both ways I want to say no and in other ways I don't mind it. I think I'm just going to start saying no all together, whatever. As zach said the smoke goes everywhere..

if you have a sliding rear window and you open it up it pulls air through the back and out the front windows. that helps too

Never. I had someone ask once and I said no and she wanted to debate it with me and I said "If you cant wait 15 minutes til we get there, get out you're not riding with me". Well she got out, I guess it was just that important to her.

I am smoke free, and my truck is smoke free.

Quickest way to devalue your vehicle for resale later on.

Absolutely not. My truck has NEVER been smoked in from the day it left the factory and it will go to the scrap yard in the same way.

I don't smoke and I can't stand being smoked around, so I sure as hell am not going to let someone smoke in MY vehicle.

I don't mind if someone asks actually, I think thats the respectable thing to do. Not asking and just lighting one up is the disrespectful thing to do.

My dad is a chain smoker and he had a 92 Buick Park Avenue with a blue leather interior. After 5 years of smoking in it, the A pillar, headliner, visors and most of the driver's side trim and top of the steering wheel were all stained yellow. Is that gross or what?

Plus every time I got in the car it just reeked of stale smoke.

I can't stand smokers even getting in my vehicle. Even if they aren't smoking, you can still smell it on them. Gross.
