Interesting....I wonder if I snapped the lower ball joint when I disconnected it...should the LBJ threads be able to free spin in complete a 360 when it's disconnected.

i'm not sure. i think so though if nothing is on it it. the way a ball joint works i think allows the shaft to spin in the ball of the cup. If its broke, it'll probably just fall out.

It's normal for the ball joint to spin when it's not connected. Typically once you put the control arm on there it will hold it from spinning while you tighten the nut. Check to see if there is any left over cotter key in the hole causing it to spin. If not take a bottle jack and jack the new spindle on to the ball joint to hold it while you tighten it.

That's without the fender flare, and the front right side is also apart so it is causing flex. I is big n' sexy now.

HAHAHA I finished it all up this morning. Passenger side was a breeze compared to driver. I need an alignment REALLY bad so it's going to the shop tomorrow. Today I plan on patching up a rust hole and painting the bottom of the tailgate...again. The steering is a little iffy as of right now but I think an alignment will help. Maybe I need to grind off some more of the LCA. We'll see.

Here's a finished pic!

The rear is about an inch lower. I need some stock 4x4 shocks and I might put in some 2 inch blocks.

Yeah I'm happy with 31s and stock 4x4 height. That's all I wanted really. Maybe if a good deal on a Fabtech 2.5 coil/UCA kit turns up I will go to 33s. But only if it drops in my lap.
