Want a '79 F150 to Part Out?

Hey guys,
Just bought a bronco last week (I'll post pics later tonight) and when I told a guy at work that I was thinking of lifting it with a HP44 he offered me his truck for parts, free. It's a '79 F150 with a newer 351 and newer 4 speed. I think the transfer cases are Dana 20 in those truck? Correct me if I'm wrong though. It runs well, but doesn't stop well. Clutch might need replacing soon he said. Transfer case is very smooth. Still the stock axle houseings, 44 up front, and a 9" out back. Floors and body are rusty (gasp).

Here's the thing, I only want the 44 up front. The 9", Transfer case, and trans are probably worth good money. I have access to a car trailer, and now that I bought the bronco, I can tow it short distances, but I can't keep the truck in my yard or anything or I'll get serious **** from the neighbors and such. Does anyone want to help me pick it up and take out the 44 and in return get the rest of the truck to part out?

Even if you live close to Wilmington DE, but have a good size yard you can keep a rusty POS, that would help, and I'd split the proceeds from the drive train.

Let me know.

Don

actually the t-case in those is a gear driven NP205.....that is a high demand t-case......and if it has a divorced NP205 t-case, then it is worth more........you should bolt that NP205 t-case to your truck when you do the SAS......it is 10000x stronger than your t-case that is chain driven....
