Icon8 E BRAKE RELOCATION??? HELP PLEASE

ok, so i've got an issue with our 02 ford ranger. we put a 3'' preformance accesories body lift kit on it about 3 years ago. just the other day found that we needed to do a complete rebuild on the rear drum brakes. everything went fine... or so we thought. then i heard a knocking, the passenger drum was hot to the touch, and come to find out, the passenger side e-brake is completly frozen up, went and purchased a new cable, installed it, but it seems to be too short. of course the instructions in the lift kit said nothing about an e-brake relocation bracket, so now i'm stuck.... any ideas???

There have never been any reports of this after installation of a 3" BL by anyone in any climate. I am suspect of the replacement cables you obtained. Or I am suspect of the routing of said cable.

The kit does come with a relocation bracket.....but I've never used it on 5 bodylifts, including my own. In fact I've only ever seen pictures of it installed once and seen in person installed once.
