The Edge is saying goodbye...

After 3 years and many mods I've decided to give up the Edge. Lack of warranty and my yearning for a Jeep have finally gotten the best of me. I'm trading it in tonight for a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The Jeep has the 4.0 I6, Dana 35 rear, 30" tire and wheel group, hard top, 6 cd player, side steps, floor mats, etc. I didn't want to go all out and kill myself with the Rubicon so they searched for this one and found it in Boston. Here's a lil pic of it before I get it on Monday night. I'm gonna miss my Ranger but they are pretty much paying it off without leaving me upside down in the Jeep at all. So I'm pretty damn happy...

its awesome man...good luck with it...you will have fun. a while back i almost got a jeep (i could not talk the wife into it). it was an 01, 4.0, 6 inch lift, 35 inch bfg's(i think) and while i was test driving it rolled onto 14000 miles. they wanted $19000. they said that a young girl had it, they lifted it, and she traded it in a month later a mustang. you could still see the little ***** on the insides of the tires...

I like Jeeps. If I ever got one it'd have a hard top too. The soft-tops are just too noisy. I hope you enjoy that one!

It's going as is, minus the xm radio and stereo system. It appraised at 9900, but they gave me 13900 for it with all the upgrade so I couldn't disagree with that :p. I also still have 5 KC lights left from the rack so those will be put on the Jeep somewhere.

Damn, Jason. Nice Jeep, but we'll all miss the Ranger. It did you good, huh?

I am glad I was able to see it in person, at Centralia.

Best of luck with the Heep!

Yup, those inliners are beefy as hell. Good thing you gonna pick up one before the ditch it for the 3.7L(or 3.8?L) for 2007.

All* new 07 Wrangler has a V6, but I don't think its on the lots yet.

*should read "mostly," but it is a major redesign.

Now your trading in the beauty
Good luck with the Jeep, I expect great Mods, and even better pictures

Thanks Chuck. It's going to take a little while for the Jeep to come around mod-wise. The first thing going on there will be a rack so I can tote my Kayaks and Bikes to and from the woods and lake.

I got it. I love this thing. Already bough my first mod too. Gonna take a while for me to get it lifted and stuff, but it's now a work in progress :) . I get it detailed from Jeep today and I'll have pictures up by tonight.

Sorry to see that purty truck go Jason, but atleast they didn't stiff you on the mods and gave you some back for them.

The jeep is purty, hope it does you well like the truck did.
