There is a guy i know with a Mid 90s ranger. It was built by barneys is napanee Indiana (something like that) for tough truck compitions. It won its first year and then the truck was sold to a guy. He drove it then my friend buddy picked it up. It had a bad tranny. He replaced the tranny and a bunch of bolts and odd and ends and fixed it up.

Its very nice I little over 100k miles. It has a full roll cage, 5 point seat. I belive it has a I beam suspension set up. I am not sure what it is called. It has resivores for the shocks. Everything is beefed up. Jsut wondered what it could be worth. he has been set on 6k for 2 years now and no luck, thinking of maybe trying to pick it up for 3k

I do not have a pic but this is what it kinda looks like....I will post a pic when I find something that looks close.

Let me know what something liek this is worth...also there is not heat or airconditioning

 

BTW its 4WD too. Comes with 33s on stock blue and silver rims and paddles tires on rims

Its nothing special I am trying to search on the net for the pics he had of it. Its just as clean as zabeards truck. with some minor dents from the tire smacking the fender but nothing major. I am searching the tough truck challenge pics. there is also a dune picture of it jumping. Its yellow with bluish water looking type marks down the side

 

if i had the spare $ sure... never really gonna be able to get rid of it agian its a long term project...

hell yeah... as long as it isn't too beat.. Remember, it was somebody else's race truck.

 

I belive it was raced in 96 and 97. then a guy bought it and beat on it. the last owners have had it for 5 or 6 years. they pretty much retored it. They are a very trusting family everything has to be tip top shape.

 

If you can get it for three, why not?

 

I am poor already and want to but a house sometime in the near lol. Only thing holding me back.

Plus I have no idea what i would do with it. It would be cool to drive but I don't go to the dunes that much. Guess I could fly accross the fields

Guess I need a pick. It would be cool to have for a year or so then sell if it is worth more. But then again I would prally never get rid of it. I am sure it wont happen. But its so kewl!

Well I was excited to hear it maybe going so cheap then I though about it. I can not even find a place to ride my quad around her let alone a truck!

 

yeah and when you do find a place just use the truck you have now! that is why you got a lvl2!!

 

Trust me your going to need all the money you can for a house, since you've already said your poor why waste your money for something you have no place to drive.

 

Well I am not literaly poor. I make my payments and everything. I just don't leave my self alot of spending money.
