Get a 2.3 and make it like your old one good on gas just not in snow.

Very somber. It's unfortunate that they won't save it.

Ford is funny in that they THINK they know what the people want, really they only know what their bottom line looks like and there is where they think the numbers will change.

Why no Crew Cab Ranger is because of the Explorer car like Sprot Trac, Ford in another one of their special moves decided a Car/Truck 4 dr would serve the market better or should I say it was what Ford decided we should buy. Ford was worried that a Crew Ranger would cut into the Explorer Sport Trac sales.

As I said before even if Ford bring the Ranger back to the US it will look like a mod’d car (the Edge) and as far as I am concerned they can keep it.

They say buy an F-150, well for me that is not an option, I do not want a big truck, lets get it together Ford and bring in a small high fuel milage Truck.

I am really starting to think, “KNOW”, that Ford $ucks, there trucks are too expensive, do not perform as well as others in their class and Ford is still DICK-tating what you can have for options.
Ford may not have asked for money from the government but they are $crewing us anyway.

Sorry if that is TOO abrupt for the Site but Ford has pi$$ed me off for too long now…

Sorry FORD but you are driving me and others to Toyota, even if they can’t see it.

Icon4 End of the line for Ford Rangers

Ford Motor Company better wake up. They will lose no telling what to the competitors. The ranger was a good truck. I have been driving one at my work now for 25+ years. I have had a 1986,1993,1996,2005 ranger models at work and my personal trucks I have a 1993 with 282,000 miles and 2006 with 68,000 miles on them. They have been good vehicles.

Maybe Ford will find out quickly they made a misstake and start back the production line.

It really wouldnt surprise me if this is just a stab at the interest in the truck. A lot like killing the thunderbird was just to revamp the platform. But odds are it will suck when they bring it back unless its the 4 door diesel one in south america

Orkin can't buy a 4wd? They are gonna use it for training from what the one article said. Those flares don't make it a 4x4. I've seen 2wd sports with them.

The skids yea. I missed if it had 4x4 stickers.

I know it's all been covered a million times, and I personally don't care about the ranger ending. its about time. But it makes NO sense to expect the f150 to replace the ranger. an ecoboost f150 sure isn't cheap...

all they need is a decent looking tacoma sized pickup ranging from stripped 2wd reg cab 4 cyl models to fully loaded 4 door 4wd with plenty of power to get out of its own way. guaranteed it would sell as long as they don't fvck up the looks of it.

I know I would buy another if Ford offered a 4 door, 4X4, straight axle, turbo diesel. That would be awesome!

My 2003 looks and runs great, I'm planning on milking it for 5-10 years from now. It'll be paid off this April, and it'll be a free ride from then on....

I think it will be a cold day in you know where before we would ever see a compact truck with a solid front axle. Unless its a short run one off of something such as an SVT truck.
