Icon5 Engine start problems when engine is hot

Hi need some help with this one.
I have a 2006 ford ranger 2.5l 4x4 it starts well when cold but when it reaches working temperature and is switched off does not start back until the engine has cool down ,this time frame now is 45-60 minutes, then it would restart fine again. Can anyone tell me what is or could be my problem.
