Did all 2000 Ranger extend cabs have jump seats?

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT extend cab, and it has the "useless" rear jumpseats. I removed them, and saw that there is now an ugly lower "hole" in each of the side corner trim panels. Would a set of non extended cab corner trim pieces work in their place? Or perhaps Ford offered the 2000 in an extended cab, but without the jump seats?

Carpet is an easy replacement, but I'd like to eliminate the gaping hole I now have in the plastic interior corner trim.

I just left the gaping hole. It's not like our trucks are pretty on the inside or anything.

Maybe panels from an ex cab that didn't have the rear doors? Those jumpseats were mounted in the area where are door pockets are so there trim panels have to be different.

My '96 XLT has jump seats that fold up into the side wall. Was yours the same way? If so, what did you gain by removing them?

If you didn't have the rear doors, you didn't get jump seats. There's a couple of members I remember saying they didn't have them.
I don't think suicide door models and non suicide doors are interchangeable as far as interior parts are concerned

It was an option my dad had a 2000 with out suicide doors and the jump seats were like a $500 add on but i never looked all that closely at the trim panels to see how they fit id imagine they would ford is lazy so I doubt they went through the trouble of making them all that different.

I've seen a few extended cab Rangers both 2 door and 4 door models in the junkyards without the jump seat package. The 2 door models had storage cubby's where the seats would go, molded into the big trim piece. I've only seen one with the suicide doors that didn't come with jumpseats, so the trim for that one is probably pretty rare.

To clarify, my 2000 Ranger does have the suicide doors, so that may add to me finding a set of corner trim pieces that came with Rangers with 4 doors, but no jump seats.

My wife thinks I'm nuts to try and locate these mystery corner trim panels, if they even exist. She thinks, as some of you have also said, to simply put the seats back in, and fold them up.

My reasoning is that if something is not used, remove it. Cleaning up the interior and making it simple.

I don't really use my jump seats, but like the idea that they are there if I need them. On the other hand, if I had an actual plan for the extended cab area that would benefit from removing them, I might change my mind. I say just leave them in the truck.

I took my jump seats out of my '02 and put in a shelf system against the back wall and used the holes in the floor to mount it.

i haven't seen any pieces that cover up the jump seat area. I pulled both of my seats because they're useless and take up space
