and yes im fully aware this isnt real 4 wheelin, but its a 2wd 4cyl so nothing too serious, im just glad i can explore a few places i couldnt in my old lowered integra. And no i have no plans of putting mudders on or lifting the truck.

 

All the time! I hate when the trail is closed, they are clsoing us down like crazy...

theres a kid here thats gonna get his *** beat by me and a few people if he keeps talking like he does and we actually see him do it. "oh i dont give a f*** i'll go off the trails i dont live here" and he was trying to get me to rip down a wooden fence to go around a gate.. tree hugging hippie ****s, but yea obey those signs we dont need more trails shut

just a note, i didnt go around any closed signs to get on the trail. Im driving along and all of a sudden i come upon a gate ... so thought it was a funny picture that they have it closed from one side but not from the other

 

its happening alot around here, even construction sites are starting to have gates

we have an old access road to our water plant literally 1/4 mile away from my house with some hill climbs and good mud but they ended up closing it down when they built a new road which really sucks because i got my truck a few months after they closed it so never got to go on it.

 

all the time. espicially on a tight *** trail, and you can't turn around. usually....but not often, we take them down and keep goin'. lol.

The county i live in has done started closing down roads that literally go to no where just to keep 4wd's out. There is little they can do tho as the next week ppl will have it rutted back out and such. Waste of money if u ask me since most of the roads are way out in the country and some even not possible w/o 4wd

Tomorrow i can get you about 40 pictures of closed gates. But most of the gate are up becasue the road goes 100 feet around a corner and ends. I got my corsica stuck once becuase I thought it was a road and it wasnt.

 

its kinda funny up here in Medicine bow ntl forest, my Tom tom and google earth both show roads that no longer exist

 

if i see him do it i'll probably take a few pics and call the BLM or rangers. then have my way

Gates up here are closed at the entrance....but there is the occasional backing down a trail due to no room to turn around and a gate that jumps out.

Only jokin guys. I'm not stupid.

 

Around here, it seems to me like it's the govt. or business closing property off. Every woodlot owner (there's a lot of christmas tree farms etc) I've talked to has encouraged me to use their land as a place to responsibly drive/ride. I always try to stay on the trail and not damage any terrain, and make that clear. Also I make it known that I do not litter and will pick up garbage on the trail... I had a old guy, probably 90 lol tell me to "spin er up!".

There is a lot of people around here who want all trails closed to motorised vehicles and call them "recreational trails". They don't realize there's all kinds of farms, backroads, old school kinda fellas on 4x4 trucks, wheelers, dirtbikes, sidebysides... they're ruining it for everyone so they don't have to meet a dirtbiker going home on "their" trail, when it means that I can't drive/ride waaaay out in the sticks legally... /rant
