12v outlet mod

i enlarged the hole to accept the outlet, grounded the black inside the tailight housing, ran the power down the inside of the frame, thru the engine compartment to the power distribution box, i linked it with an hise holder w/ 30a buss fuse and link to the terminal

the Hi-Lift

i didnt wanna pay for the special thingy to keep it from vibrating

DAMN! those are big pics! but mods look good. Just out of curiosity, what do you plan on powering with the 12V in the bed?

walmart has a good selection of them, even one specifically for truck bed outlets, i would suspect auto parts stores would have some as well.

my auto parts store around here suck, pep boys is just gross, not clean, not organized
autozone, is nice lookin but often does not have what i need, same with O'Reilly

Very nice. Yeah Wal-Mart has a kit in the automotive electrical section that has that plug and the wires for under $20.00 Supposed to be waterproof If I remember right. I don't think it comes with a fuse holder though. That is my next mod aside from the cargo third light.
