exhaust help

I want to replace my exhaust tips on a dual exhaust, because it is very rusted. The tubes running from the muffler are 2 inches in diameter and 2 inches in diameter where there are welded to the tips

Does that mean that the replacement tips need to have a 2 inch inlet?

It was on there when i bought the truck, so i have no idea where he would get a tip of that length in 2 inch

I have been unable to locate a 2 inch inlet with 18 inches length with a 2.5 inch outlet.

I went to 5 five shops and all of them are confused on what to do (besides a whole news system)

Is there a 2in inlet with a length of 18inches

I would be will to move up to a 3 inche outlet, but one shop told me that there was no room to mount that size?

any help would be great, I lost and can not find anything on the internet.

Thanks
