Exhaust Help and Advice

I'm debating on changing my exhaust. i currently have it fourty fived out the back behind the rear tires. I would like to go back to straight pipes but would like to know if i should remove the duals and dump it before the axle.
The current tips get abused and pushed down by the leafs off roading and when on a lift and they are uneven..

Are there any advantages of this?
Will it resonate more into the cab?
Will it vibrate more?
